If your new ink has a “slimy” feel when you wash it during these first two days, then continue to wash with your hand until it does not feel “slimy.” Gently rub the balm into the skin, ensuring you don’t leave a thick layer.

On the third day, wash your new tattoo only a couple of times per day. Apply Painted Bear’s Tattoo Stuff as often as possible to keep your fresh ink from drying. Be mindful not to pick at any scabs that may form on your fresh tattoo. Let the scabs fall off naturally.
